#8 IMAGERY IN DANCE.

Imagery is one of the most essential learning mechanisms for the body and mind as it relates to dance. Discuss one image you use to execute a dance movement and post a photo to reflect this quality. Identify what in the photo helps to understand the dance principle. You can include more than one idea or photo to represent.

I think that the image of the "C" is a clear way to show the connection of head tail. It shows how the body needs to be almost connected from top to the bottom. You can see how the spine is needed to be curved over and how you need your center to be contracted in. If you use your core it is easier to contract into a head tail position. You need to use head tail connection for a lot of movements in dance. Head tail is a good way to fortify balance when doing all types of movements.
